Booking data is used to organise and provide the selected private watersports session. Payment data may be processed by external payment providers. Lac Privé Zurich does not store full credit card details. Depending on the selected payment method, payment processing may be handled by providers such as TWINT, PayPal, credit card processors, bank transfer providers or other payment service providers. We receive the information necessary to confirm payment, manage the booking and comply with accounting obligations.

If a guest independently arranges approved on-board refreshments through a hotel or another third-party provider, Lac Privé Zurich processes only the information necessary to review and organise the operational suitability of such items on board. Personal data is not shared with hotels or hospitality providers for marketing purposes.

8. Photos and Videos

Photos or videos may be taken during a session for operational, documentation or marketing purposes. If guests do not wish to appear in photo or video material, they should inform the skipper before the session begins. Guest images are not sold to third parties.

9. Retention, Security and Disclosure

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Booking, payment and accounting-related data may be retained for the period required under Swiss accounting, tax or legal obligations. Other personal data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, unless continued retention is necessary to handle claims, comply with legal obligations or protect legitimate interests.
